Fear Of Competition…

I wrote this piece when our retail outlet newly opened. I’m sharing it today for your weekend delight! Enjoy it!

Job 7:7 (KJV) Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

It takes courage to be self-employed.

The good news however is that the great Lord honours genuine faith and whoever will dare to taste will sure see that the Lord is good!

It’s been fun and fulfilling. But the start up challenges? Hhhmmmm…

Initially, I decided to keep all the fun till this little enterprise becomes a multi billion dollar company. On a second thought however, I decided it’d be good to ‘WOW’ you occasionally with shots from this tiny ’empire’. I owe that to you friends- for your audience!

Just yesterday, two guys walked into our cute outlet and asked, “Where is ‘Bounties’ – that BIG Supermarket around here?”

I laughed and said cheerfully, “It’s right here! THIS is the BIGGEST Supermarket around here! How may we be of service? What would you need?”

“…No. We mean ‘BOUNTIES’ that BBIIIIIGGGG outlet… That Very BBIIIIGGGGG one…”, they insisted!

“Oh that one? In that case just try the right turn and drive down the road”, I suggested. (When I knew only the left turn leads to Bounties).

I had a good laugh when they were gone. Very naughty of me indeed- because for them, it could have been something other than just buying…

Then this scripture came alive even more… Though thy beginning be small, thy latter end should greatly increase… Job 7:7 (KJV)
