Day 27: Stop Looking Around

Gen. 25:27 (AMP) When the boys grew up, Esau was a cunning and skilled hunter, a man of the outdoors; but Jacob was a plain and quiet man, dwelling in tents.

The outcome of our lives is a function of how faithfully we employ our peculiarities for example, our individuality, our endowments, our opportunities, our status per time and even our circumstances, details of which are very important to God and relevant to our destiny.

Who could have thought that ‘plain’, shy, feeble, reserved Jacob would eventually come out greater in life than cunning, skilled, outgoing and charismatic Esau?

Hence, the outcome of our lives cannot be isolated from any of these – no matter how minute. In fact, even every joy or pain, every smile or tear, every disappointment, hardship, success or temporary setback we encounter along the way sure counts!
