Inspiring Change Through Literature and Media
Jos.7:1 (KJV) But the children of Israel committed a trespass …for Achan, the son of Carmi…took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel.
Welcome to #WinningWithPeople series!
The first rule of interpersonal relationships has to do with the fact that no man is an island. Consequently, there is no vacuum in the human community.
…whatever you do or fail to do has the potential to affect not only you or the next person to you, but your whole community and even (unborn)generations after you!
We often hear people say, “It’s my life and I can do what I like with it; I can smoke all I want, bleach all I want, laze around all I want, disobey God all I want as long as it doesn’t affect any other person.”
But nothing can be further from the truth!
The truth is that whatever you do or fail to do has the potential to affect not only you or the next person to you, but your whole community and even (unborn)generations after you!
This is the reason why Jesus mentioned that to have regard for the Lord and to love your neighbour as you love yourself is the fulfillment of the law!
… there is no vacuum in the human community.
Do you wish for better relationships going forward?
Then you need to start looking beyond yourself and looking out for the next person to you in things you do from today because really, it all goes beyond you!
