The ability to communicate effectively is the most vital of all skills required to excel in the business world and in life generally.
Obviously, this skill outweighs technical expertise as the man who has the know-how will always answer to the man who has the ability to pull resources together, walk through barriers and get things done. That takes excellent communication skills among other things!

Why is a wise man’s whisper often louder than a fool’s cry? The major answer lies in the ability of the wise to communicate more effectively!
That leads to the first point we shall address on this subject, which is the general assumption that communication can only be verbal, written or visual. Nothing can be further from the truth!
Surprisingly, communication occurs every time and actually goes beyond speaking, writing or any form of visual or abstract art.
Essentially, communication is the skillful use of every available means and medium to relay, receive or interpret any message. It is the total package- the sum of what transpires between the effort and the feedback.
