Things are not always as they seem in life. Besides, looks can be very deceptive and distractive on the pathways to significance. Therefore, we would need more than meets our naked eyes to fulfil destiny.

Consider this true life account:

All the odds were against Zacchaeus. Being a man of little stature, he was obviously disadvantaged- paralyzed by circumstances beyond his control; and absolutely without any fault of his …

Moreover, for Zacchaeus, the fact that everyone around was much taller than he also meant that they were better equipped for life and more qualified for every good thing of life.

And that included THIS golden opportunity!

Judging from the number of ‘better privileged’ and ‘more fortunate’ people around, he definitely stood no chance at all in this contest and context.  Or how on earth could he ever catch even a glimpse of Jesus- let alone gain His audience amidst this mammoth crowd of much taaaaaaaaalllllllllllller people…?
