Day 136: You Will Be Vindicated

The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
Lam 3:24-26 (KJV)

Keep being yourself and doing good even when the object of your good deeds is not yielding, or worse still repays with evil.

For though love may not always win over its object, you haven’t failed for giving because you are built up into a better person in the process.

Likewise, keep doing what you should even when your efforts don’t count; or worse still, when it seems every one of your good deed is contested.

For God did not promise you will reap where you sowed or from whom you sowed to. Nevertheless, you will definitely reap what you sow in due season.

Ultimately, you will know that God is a faithful God; and though it seems you suffer in vain today, you will eventually be vindicated.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.1Co 15:58 (KJV)

Prayer:

Lord, at those times when it seems my good is repaid with evil and all good works do not yielding any result, help me to not quit doing good knowing well that I will surely be vindicated. For though I may not reap where I sowed, I will surely reap what I sowed in due season. Amen.
