Is anyone in a predicament? Is your job, health, finances, relationship, marriage, business, etc. in jeopardy? Is the storm of life beating vehemently and threatening to rock your boat?
Then it’s not time to give in to despair or leave yourself to distress.
The target of the enemy in every crisis is our peace. When peace goes out, men cast off every iota of hope and faith, lose their sleep, then despair and distress set in. This launches one into the panic mode which is a period of much upheaval and confusion – a perfect atmosphere for the enemy to freely walk in to further steal, kill and destroy.
The kingdom of God, however, is the dominion of Christ through Righteousness, Peace and Joy. Where confusion thrives, the enemy of our souls goes into operation and the situation worsens. Wherever these three factors are intact however, the enemy has no foothold – no room to manifest!
Hence, the first thing to ensure in any crisis is to do all we can to hold on to your Peace.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? … Mar 4:37-39 (KJV)
When a storm arose against Jesus, His disciples were jeopardized…and truly, the storm would have swallowed them up, but for Jesus who did not give a hoot! He did not even loose a sleep! He just kept snoring… His peace was intact because He was A Man of Peace. And with that calm and tranquil spirit, Jesus was able to address, arrest and prevail over the situation.
