Are you facing any predicament? Is your job, health, marriage, business, etc. on the line? Are you in jeopardy? Is the storm of life beating vehemently and threatening to rock your boat?
Apart from holding on to your peace and not fretting as discussed in our previous posts Where Your Strength Lies In Crisis and How To Not Fret In Crisis, we need to move a step further and tackle the issue at hand just like the Lord Jesus did when faced with a crisis during His earthly tenure.
When the storm arose, Jesus AROSE too to address the situation.
As you’d notice in our text for today, apart from not fretting when His attention was drawn to the issue, Jesus did not just fold His hands and allow the storm to rage on. Let’s put it this way: His peace and calmness enabled Him to put the crisis in the right perspective and to tackle it effectively; and afterwards there was a GREAT calm from what started out as a GREAT storm.
Therefore, we can say summarily that after ensuring you are so calm and restful that you do not fret or lose a sleep over the issue at hand, which would enable you gain a proper perspective and full mastery, the next thing to do is to go ahead and address the issue.
