Day 157: Live And Not Die…

Hebrews 12:12-13 (KJV)
Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; 13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

Don’t let

mistakes,
disappointments,
dashed hopes,
failures,
inadequacies,
insecurities,
rejections,
offenses,
past or present
and other odds against you

rule you out in life.

Rather,

lift up the hands which hang down
set your feeble knees on the paths
of life again
forgive
forget
set you hands to the plough again
don’t hold back
reach out to God
NOW

be healed and live again! (*1)

Prayer:

Lord,

When life gets hurtful, I find justification to opt out and not live again or do the good I should again. But that only cripples and eventually kills rather than heal.
And so I turn to You today, please grant that I find grace to keep standing and doing the good I should in spite of it all. That these feeble hands which now hang down might find healing and not be crippled in Jesus’ name. Amen.
