Psalms 30:5 (KJV) … weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Do not make permanent decisions in temporary situations, regardless of how hopeless it seems. Please hold on for the same tree which looks dead and lifeless in Winter blossoms and flourishes in Spring time.
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22 (ESV)
For there is hope for a tree,
if it be cut down, that it will sprout again,
and that its shoots will not cease.
Though its root grow old in the earth,
and its stump die in the soil,
yet at the scent of water it will bud
and put out branches like a young plant. Job 5:7-9 (ESV)
Thank You Lord for reminding me that those who keep tending their trees in winter will rejoice when the snow melts away and signs of new life appear at Spring time. Please teach my heart to persevere and not give up when the going gets tough for as surely as You live and while the earth remains, the darkness shall pass and morning shall surely come. For this I rejoice, and I remain eternally grateful for very soon, I too shall smile. Amen.
