Mat 9:21 (KJV) For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
You don’t need all of this world’s faith
To move your biggest mountains
When a mustard-seed-sized faith will suffice…
You need not shout
Or chant vainly for Heaven’s attention
Just a whisper in the name of Jesus would do.
The centurion said,
“Jesus, why visit to heal my servant
When just a word from You would avail…?”
The syrophoenician woman thought,
I don’t need to hug all of Jesus to heal my ailment
Just the hem of His garment and I’d be whole!
The Canaanite woman needed not feast with the children
For her daughter’s healing-
Just crumbs from the Master’s table was enough…
Two hundred pennyworth of bread was way too much
To feed five thousand in the wilderness
Five barley loaves and two tiny fishes served…
The blood of Jesus atones for ugly details of our countless sins
Not by gallons…
Just one drop is enough.
You call for Heaven’s throne
To quell your life’s greatest turmoils?
Please relax… this whole wide world is just His footstool!
God never needed a large army
To deliver His people
When He is mighty to save with many or few…
Legions of angels are too many
For your life’s toughest devils
In Jesus’ name, not even an angel’s feather would be required!
You wouldn’t need all this world’s wisdom
To be reckoned with In life
When even God’s foolishness is wiser than man…
You wouldn’t require all of this world’s strength
To conquer territories
For with weakness His grace doth abound
God is ‘uncontainable’, indescribable
Incomparable with anything on earth
Each time you magnify and fret over your problems
You make Him too small in your life.
Lord, truly I have made You too small in my eyes to have ever exaggerated my life’s issues in your ears. Lord, please forgive me.
Now I know that my problems are incomparable with You. Speak the word only… And I will be whole. Amen.
